Grocey Shopping

Uttering those words is like saying a curse word to me.  I cannot stand it.  I despise the grocery store.  It gives me anxiety, and it terrifies me.  I just don't like entering the forbidden place alone (without another adult).  And it doesn't matter if the boys are with me or not.  They are fine.  Taking them to stores is not the issue.  It's the grocery store and grocery shopping itself.

Anyways.  It takes me at least an hour (again with or without the kids).  I/we take many breaks, and probably walk a solid 2 miles while in there.

We even pull over and pause for photo shoots when things get a to be too much.

For those of you wondering when Chase grew up and got so big, it happened over night, I swear.  There is something in this Texas water.  It's doing strange thing to my tiny humans.

And please don't let the overwhelming amount of adorable photos I am sharing fool you...

....And just in case you think I am joking - that ecard is 100% truth.

May 2014

That was the fastest month ever ;-)

I had my last game coaching the best group of girls, ever.  And wouldn't you know it was against Grandview.

We went to another Rockies game, and the big boys got to run the bases after the game.

We did lots of hanging around.

A friend gave us her sons old baby uggs

I told him he couldn't chew on the cord

And then we drove down to Texas for a visit with my parents and grandparents.  This is where the real "updating" starts I guess.  I will give you the short version...

A few things we knew: 1) Our condo was wayyyy to small.  We outgrew it long before Chase was even born.  2) With my health being so unknown, we had to get closer to my parents, before we were forced into doing something (ie moving) when we were not ready.

Prior to our trip down to Dallas, Paul started applying for jobs like a mad man, and had set up 6 interviews for 3 of the days we were down there.  Within 24 hours of the interview he had offers from every company except 1.  If this wasn't the biggest slap in the face from the universe saying 'now is a good time to move',  I don't know what could be.  We were able to weigh the options of each offer, and make (what we hope is) the best decision for our family.

Top Golf, the coolest place ever.

not as epic as last years 'USA' photo

I promise, everyone was really happy and did have a great time.
So that's that. Paul accepted a job while we were down there, which meant two weeks after we drove home, he had to go back down to start at his new position.

Now I bet you're really excited to see how June went uh ;-)
