A long overdue update

I am really trying here! But I will be the first to admit I am the worst at blogging :-/ I am trying to take inspiration from some of my favorite blogs, but I keep coming back to "well no one is going to want to read about that".  So I will be short, but try and hit all the highlights.

We fostered our first dog for Life is Better Rescue.  We happened to be dog sitting Kiko and Shoei (Ryan and Melissa's dogs) for a week, and when they came to pick the girls up, they feel in love with Watson Doxy and adopted him that weekend.  They named him Watson, but kept Doxy as his middle name since that's what Braden named him when we picked him up.

In January, I needed to go in for another Rituxan infusion, and sadly, Paul was not able to get time off work to watch the boys while I sat for 6 hours :( LUCKILY, my mom decided that it was an important time to Jet up to Denver for a week.  She came up the night before my infusion, and was able to play with the boys during the day.  The rest of the week was spent recovering and regaining my energy, and seeing LOTS of friends.  We also were able to take the boys to the Rodeo and Stock Show :)

While my Mom was here she also helped install my birthday present - a new sink, faucet, and disposal (which we REALLY needed)!

Right before the super bowl there was a "big" snow storm.  The news made it out to be much worse than it really was.  We got about 20ish inches, but it was not a 'blizzard' that had us home bound.  Nonetheless the boys enjoyed playing outside and shoveling.

There there was my actual birthday.  Not exciting to report on there.  Braden helped me bake a cake, and then we made dinner at home.  This weekend Paul and I are going to the Avalanche game with Ryan and Melissa.  My aunt is coming out next week for a visit so maybe we will get to do something special then.

Other than that there is not too much else to report on from this year.  My days are kept busy doing school with Braden.  I am starting to find that I need to plan activities for Zachary to do too.  Our nights are spent at Lifetime Fitness working out and playing with friends, and usually end with some baseball on the field.

~Until Next Time, Paige :)
